What GEM CONSULTATIONS does, what it will never promise you, and what federal law gives you regardless of what anyone promises.
What this practice is
GEM CONSULTATIONS is a credit repair organization as the Credit Repair Organizations Act defines one, and also provides credit, business and financial coaching. Coaching is education and guidance. It is not legal, tax or investment advice, and working with us creates no attorney-client relationship.
What we do not promise
We do not promise a specific credit score, a specific outcome or a specific timeline, and nobody honestly can. No credit repair organization can have accurate, current and verifiable information removed from your credit report. What we do is review your reports for items that are inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable, and work the dispute process with you.
Your rights under federal law
You can dispute inaccurate information yourself, directly with each credit bureau, at no cost. You have the right to obtain a copy of your credit report from a credit bureau. You have the right to a written contract before any work begins, and to cancel a signed credit repair contract for any reason within three business days.
The consultation
The consultation is free and there is nothing to sign to have one. Nothing said in a consultation is a contract. Any engagement begins with a written agreement you get to read first.
